Italy Wedding Photographer for Creative Destination Weddings

Editorial, art-driven photography across Lake Como, Tuscany & Sicily, for couples planning their wedding in Italy from abroad.

About Arabella Photography

If you’re planning a wedding in Italy and want something beyond traditional wedding photography, you’re in the right place.

My approach blends natural moments with a subtle editorial direction, creating imagery that feels both honest and intentional, without ever feeling forced. No orchestrated moments, no stiff posing. Just the real thing: the nervous laughter before the ceremony, the way someone looks at their person when they think no one is watching, the chaos and the tenderness woven together in the same hour.

Whether you’re exchanging vows in a Tuscan villa, a Lake Como estate, or a sunlit Sicilian courtyard, we bring a modern, editorial eye and heartfelt sensitivity to every frame.

A creative approach to destination weddings in Italy

I don’t focus on overly posed or repetitive imagery.

Instead, I look for atmosphere, light, movement, and composition, shaping images that feel personal, immersive, and visually distinctive.

The goal is not just to document your wedding in Italy, but to create something that feels like it belongs to you.

From the elegance of Lake Como to the warmth of Tuscany and the energy of Sicily, each location offers a different rhythm, and a different creative opportunity. Some of the places I've had the privilege of photographing:

Tuscany & Umbria - Lake Como & Lake Maggiore - Sicily - The Dolomites - Piedmont & Langhe - Rome -Verona - Venice - Paris - Spain

Next up: Apulia - Portugal - NYC

A simple, thoughtful process

  • Tell me about your wedding — the date, the location, the kind of atmosphere you’re imagining.
Even if plans are still evolving, that’s completely fine.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so the earlier we connect, the better.

  • Before anything is confirmed, we’ll have a call.
A relaxed conversation to understand your plans, what matters most to you, and whether my approach feels like the right fit.

  • In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I’ll work with you and your planner to refine timing, light, and flow, so everything feels natural and unforced.

  • I’ll be there with a calm, unobtrusive presence, stepping in with gentle direction when needed, but mostly allowing the day to unfold.
Capturing both the obvious moments and the quieter ones you might not even notice at the time.

  • Within 3–4 weeks, you’ll receive a private online gallery of fully edited images, digital and film combined.
A considered, cohesive body of work that reflects the way your day felt.

Client Testimonials

Couples often tell me that my photos transport them right back to their day: the laughter, the tears, and the quiet, intimate moments. These stories shape everything we do and inspire our work to be more than just photography, it’s storytelling, framed with love and intention.

Most couples I work with are based in the US and Australia, often planning their wedding in Italy from afar.

I collaborate closely with planners and guide you through timing, light, and flow, so everything feels effortless and natural on the day.

Kind Words, that I didn’t pay them to write

“Giulia was truly incredible to work with. From the moment we saw our wedding photos, we were blown away, she captured not just how everything looked, but how it felt. Every image brings us right back to our day in Italy. She made us feel completely comfortable, blended in effortlessly, and brought such a calm, positive energy throughout the day. We feel so lucky to have had her document such a special moment, we couldn’t recommend her more”

Jess + Luigi, from Connecticut

“The photos of our wedding with Giulia came to life, taking us back to those exact moments and freezing them in time! The best part was discovering details and moments that had escaped us during the day: true emotions that make everything even more special. Every photo tells a story. And then, most of all, Giulia wasn't just "the photographer," but one of us. She fit in naturally, as if we'd known each other forever, bringing an energy that made the atmosphere even more beautiful.”

Martina + Umberto

“Absolutely the most amazing wedding photographer! She knew exactly the vision we were looking for, really listened to our needs and values. She also made sure to capture the most special moments in such a beautiful way. We are so grateful to have found her. Highly recommend!”
